havent yet decided what to run in it,wouldnt mind twins.
found a set of stainless motor mounts i made acouple years ago for a twin
today in the shed.
thinking twin 8xls 4s x442 c/r
its a hotr hull dont tell douggie
still thinking on paint,its a black hull so may need some colour

Boats boys this IS a boating forum, ran the new whip today oh $hit, my god and WTF. Bloody awesome, new motor needs running in but top speed of 68mph, 10min to a bag of fuel and the roost from a 70mm 1.9 pitch prop needs to be seen to be believed !!! I can see this being low 70's in race trim. Also ran the Seaducer on the new nano 45c cells, a improvement over the 40c and rock solid at 60mph. What a great day I wish they were all this good. All I need to finish such a great day is a couple of beers and a hot frog !!!

What pipe is that ?
I think you mentioned the motor was slightly modded? what mods?
Are you running an internal stinger?
What carb you running ?
Can you post pics of your turnfin?
Which side did you put Ze rudder on?
Finally what needle settings you end up at ?



Im going to get a gas wood whip at some stage.... I like the Aeromarine Chaos, but after seeing several other near new AM hulls come apart after minor blow overs and a new conquest get munted after one raceday im not so sure about paying the $$ for an AM Hull when I can get AB marine Annihalator for about $600 and they are SOLID with butt joined seams, joined wet in the mold... oh and I can drive to pick it up 20 mins away from home

The pipe is a NFS two stage 1" band steel pipe, makes awesome power, and enough torque to run full short and hit 20,000 rpm and still get up fast from mill.
Engine is a Omen race prep with 1mm stroker crank, machined ramps in crank case and lifted ex timing a tad.
External stinger with RCMK muffler
Modded 257 carb, but a modified wyk33 coming,
Turnfin by Blazer and sharpened and polished by the More Go Than Show Prop Company
Rudder is on the left, and works !! Period !!
As running in the motor high 1 , low 2 1/4 , after a few bags of fuel left low as is and high came back to 3/4.
Prop ran today, 2716 /15 ABC and a 2718 back cut 3mm all balanced and sharpened by the More Go Than Show Prop Company. Razor sharp as the large cuts in the fingers can attest to !!! The 2718 had more lift so raised strut 4mm and dropped rear of fin 1mm to get her airing out a little and that is when it got real fast. More work to do but am close.
