He never told me anything Doc. I was supposed to go to get my blood tested and call him for the results on Monday. I think he thinks I will be coming back on an ongoing basis. I hope for his sake that he has not ordered the new Mercedes based on that thinking. I am going to start with some diuretics as I know my body retains a lot of fluid. I am 126 kg so I need to lose some weight quickly (more sexercise needed here girls). I am sure you will all chip in with some ideas on how to drop the blood pressure (pressure relief valve maybe) and I will be back firing like a V8 sooner than you can say "Scots Canadian".

A good wank on a daily basis will get rid of those fluids and reduce the blood pressuure, and lassies from East European countries may elevate your blood pressure.

Haha. One of the delightful young ladies on the Kmart front desk calls me her personal dirty old man and tells all the other young ones to keep away from me because I am hers. I do not need Viagra but the opposite pill might help lower my blood pressure. Ahhhh women sure have a lot to answer for and my high blood pressure is just one of them.
Walked around my beloved lake this morning for some exercise. Too windy for a boat but just right to lose some weight. Thought about what life without FE boats would be like and decided that is what they call death. Man, I love my boats.
Just finished a couple of Kangaroo sausages and about to attack a green tea then some repairs to my DF33. Been thinking about that 139 mph C H did with that gorgeous looking rigger and how it relates to my feeble attempts to get to 100 mph... what am I telling you guys this for? Your not the slightest bit interested in boats. Just put it down to the ramblings of an old man fellas. Well make that a dirty old man.

Paddy, how tall are ya mate? It seems that 126kg would be ok if you are 1.90cm or so
            =)
Now, if you are "undertall" it certainly could be an issue along with the daily doses of rebullocks and coffee...

I must join ampba and do some more work on my little 3s Xzess rigger and go to that event next year. Not sure what the Aussie 3s record is but I will check when I have time.

Well I just wasted some time looking on the AMPBA site. No results there after 2006.

If no record exists for your class, let's go make an entry to the book !

existing AMPBA electric rules written by ppl more aligned nitro than LiPo .. and technology has heralded a new wave of interest and believability since when these were first penciled to the rulebook.

look at this current rule clarification .. what a load of poo-poo IMHO !

This is why we are currently going through a rule change, so many vulgarities introduced by the electrically timid liquid fuel variety... !

Those are the ones I found Doc, but it appears that nothing has happened with FE boats in Oz since 2003. As for the speed it does not say if they are talking about mph or kph. My guess is kph but that is just a guess. The keeping of good records is something the AMPBA should be about if they want to attract people like me or I will just stick to my own gps records. I do not know how many times that me and others have been shot down by SAW Gods because we quote gps speeds. If the Gods cant organize good records then they know where they can stick their gobbledygook (I suggest a place where the sun don't shine).
While on the subject of SAW Gods, when will they get it through their heads that some of us are happy with our gps readings. When I quote a gps readings I know there could be a little inaccuracy. I use my gps as a guide but I know from constant tests of the same boats that it is a GOOD guide. I have sat my gps on the dash of the wife's car while she is driving and it and the car speedometer are always within 1 mph of each other. My gps tells me a lot about what prop changes are doing to my boats and if a battery has passed its use by date.
Having said all that I know that one day I will make the trip to one of these events and participate.
