I felt bad when I saw the video, I aam glad they found him and are rebuilding the boat.
He was not the last one... there was that lad from down under, he still has the record... not bad for a home made boat, hehehehehe.

That image holds a place in every fast boaters heart, be they model boaters or fullsize racers. I too am glad about the recovery of both pilot & boat.
The rebuilt boat will be a sight to see on the water again.
And the lad from down under, I'm glad to say, is building & testing a new boat to break his own record. Mainly because no one else can do it.
