I run mine with a 645 prop up about 1/8th(SK 180 and Castle 2200kv on 4s) . I like running it level with the sponsons too but it is way loose. So with the bigger 447 prop 3/16 should take care of it. A tad more will really settle it in the water. It really depends on conditions. AND never peg a cat into the wind, there will always be that little gust that will catch it.
I was actually going to put in a jet engine to my boat, to help her with take off. I was going to add short wings on side to control my lift I guess. FLYING GEICO 29.
You don't really need the cap bank for 4s. Mind you it can't hurt either. Try to keep the contacts as close to the ESC inputs as possible. Spin it around 180 from picture. You can get her to keep in the water and rippin

Great. Whats the motor and set up?
That has twin 950kv TP 4050's, a Flier twin 300 ESC, and 'click' stingers. That vid was on 10s2p. And the hull is a Fantasm, Zonda, same thing.
