I knew you would be interested. I am still working on the 1/6 scale drag boats molds, It will be a nice addition to the 1/10 scale boats.

          Baddest Racing in the world!
Back in the day sitting out in the air BG/F BBC screaming 8000 rpm but exhaust was real quiet at speed if you were driving or out for a ride nothing like it. Then in at the end of the 70's too many fatal crashes. Runner bottom's trapping too much air learning curve was hard on the people. Glad to see outriggers back ....yes back they where built way back 40's.
Prayers out to all the families who lost drivers never to be forgotten.

Ahhh Man any idea what G-Force's they can pull with the dual prop setup? So cool much safer. I used to tell people that a Drag Boat was a Frisbee with a Heart Attack Engine LOL

Assuming linear acceleration.. close to 9 Gs
=[D/T]/G=[1000ft/3.36sec]/33ft per sec = frizbee with heart attack.

WOW They have come a very long way.....but so has electric boating. OK so at 8G x my 240# = 1,920# yikes! That's why my Dr. said no more holes shots for me SHOOT.
Your heart just lays in your chest and in my case the hoses are sewn on.......I can live with that. DRAG RACING Still miss giving anything a whack and shifting it through the gears. Back in the 60' running on 7" wide tires with low air pressure and going 120.00 mph out the back door that was crazy. Guy's ever wonder why we are still here?
Oh ya to run our RC Boats LOL

One of my elderly friends/clients down here was a drag motorcyclist.. 1/4 miles in the 70's.
14th year at pro level where 150 launches a year was common place .. last run, launched ...acceleration suddenly relocated a few upper inside bits towards his lower inside bits.. finished the pass.. braked into end . laid it over at walking pace.. taken away by medivac .. rebuilt. What's left is a riotous laugh of memories and yarns.. but a living warning to us all.. fun can kill.

I know you'll now find pro drivers wearing full compression suits to prevent trauma/blackouts..

Ive more than my fair share of internal and external rebuilds/replacements/patchups.. and today I exercise my enthusiasm towards hyper sports by mimicking in miniature their efforts

That is the whole reason I started the RC Boat thing it was something I could afford and not hurt my self. Ya know I watch how the boats break up in a wreck. It would seam a little safer if they built them a little stronger so they do not fall apart so much.
