    Tablet reccoendations?

Anyone have any recommendations for android tablets? looking for one for my sister in law and the simpler the better to use would be good. We have a Kindle Fire HD but you cant customize how the desktop is set up and she is not goign to use to stream much or buy many books. Mostly web surfing and facebook ect maybe the occasional skype call.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 that I have used for over a year now, I bought it because I had to be on a business trip and wanted to Skype with my daughter. I love the resolution and the color of the camera. ( Main) . The little one for Skype works well too. I now only use it to go on this Forum and check e mail. I happen to like the Andriod OS and Samsung seems to be right there with the first tier Japnese counter part quality wise.

I'm not sure if you thought about the iPads. I just bought my parents an iPad. They are very technologically challenged to say nicely. :) they are using it for surfing and email. I don't have much knowledge about the windows based tabs but for ease of use the iPads in my opinion are unbeatable. And I'm not really an apple guy but after I had used one for a short time I wouldn't think of using anything else.

If you want to get a really good one, get the Asus Google Nexus 7. It is quad chip powered and it's very fast! It's probably the most universal android tablet out right now. It's not limited on what you can use it for, like so many of the other ones out there. I just love mine, it was well worth paying $249 for the 32G version.

What's your budget? If you want just the basics for cheap, check out what Walmart and Biglots have to offer.

Probably 300 or so just the basics Just trying to figure out what would be best for her as she also has MS is in a wheelchair and only can use one arm so kind of thinking laptop or maybe chromebook now so she does not have to handle it and possibly drop it.

The Chromebook seems like a good option. If you're in the 300 range, a ipad mini is another option.
