I dont buy the last statement about "all losing to Obummer". Assuming that using the typical political stance of "Once I am elected" I will change my mind as I see fit. Obummer did it. What? Have we become so short minded not to remember his campaign promises? C'mon. Dont buy into that crap out statement. Romney isnt out by any shot should he be the Rep nominee. Today the American public got to see how effective the President is at "being the shoe in". He got called to task.

In short, Obummer had to literally appologize to the Supreme Court today. By noon no less? (get the western showdown language?) He used a calculated statement on this past Monday statement that "They (the supreme court) have no authority to vote down his Health Care Plan" Insinuating that his office was above other official government officials judgement and that they may consider he might be a continueing political ally or enemy in the future. Threats????

Well today we see that old Obummer came to his senses. He never had any power to effect legal decisions about Citizen Rights concerning review by the Supreme Court. He, like every American Citizen is forced to accept their interpritation of the effects to our gauranteed rights based on the Constitution. While he assumed he had more power then them, today he was given the opportunity to back peddle and admit, in a rather less humiliating public statement, he had indeed overstepped his powers by his statement.

While little attention has been paid to this historic event in the news of today, it is clearly a given, that Obummer will suffer many more of these "lessons" in knowing how he HAS TO behave to merit another consideration to be elected.

He hasnt won the election yet and is far from solidifying public opinion that they should grant him another term. He has much to prove. And so far he has not provided anything other than running on his past performance. And it is not in his favor at this point. Dont listen to the news polls. We know they lie. Just an attempt to keep the Repubs from garnering any early undecided's. However this is when his adminstration cronies have to begin showing progress in his past perfromance.

Its not over till the fat lady sings. And I think it will be a bit more surprising than most expect. I.E. bet on the long shot this time.

As an educated, well read outsider who was also born and grew up in the states, you guys are screwed no matter who ends up in power.
For the people it's a no win election!

That is unfortunately the honest truth. Even if the Repub's had a winner in line to beat the Dem's incumbent it wouldnt matter. There is little chance the next 4 year term will have enough time to effect the fixes to what has gone wrong over the last decade. At best our debt might be made to recover in another decade. But it wont. Most likely it will be converted into someother component with a less negative conotation. That will enable the Capital Hill mentality to continue as they have with reckless spending and no one having to take responsibilty. It will always be a blame game between the parties and no one taken to task.

Amen to that....I sold a lot of quality equipment from the USA and Canada but that base has been eroded by retailers looking for the cheapest avenue...look in the mirror when you purchase items today. As our youth today may well be living in your basement for a long time

I couldn't have said it any better really. I mean, there was a candidate, some say he may still try to run as an independant but, the MSM cast him aside so well, nobody got to see he had an actual plan for your country.

It seems you now have a choice betwen two plastic men that have a record of lies, etc..

Obamney for president! Just squish'm together it's easy with plasticine.

Ron Paul was a freaking nut-job... He had some decent ideas, but they he'd go WAY off the reservation. His policies would put this country in DIRE danger and simply wouldn't work on a global scale.

Doesn't matter now... The choices are clear... Given the two choices, the lessor of the two evils is very clear.

I sure wish that our system would allow a true leader to rise up again one of these days...

Sorry to be so cynical but, which plastic man do you think is the lessor of the two evils?

Romney is maaaybe morally conservative but, he will bail out the banks in the fall/winter just like Bammy. He has zero fiscal conservative values.

His words paraphased: "war? well, let the LAWYERS sort that out." WHO YA!!! fun wow!

If there wasn't such blatent massive corruption on the voting floor and callusion with the media, those spooky lies about crazy Ron Paul would never have stuck like they did in the MSM.

Voting for either Romney or Obama is a vote for failure or a vote for giving in to the hack 2 party system.

Well, we'll see what happens at the convention in tampa, it aint over quite yet. Nuts is doing the same thing over and over again and never learning from your misyakes! At least Ron Paul doesnt get his campaign contributions from goldman sachs etc..... The media and the establishment picked their candidate and you and I had no say so in it whatsoever! Democracy doesmt exist anymore in this country, thats whats so sad. If more people would do their own research on Ron Paul instead of listening to the deceptive media they would see hes not so "nuts" afterall!

I really dont see how bringing the troops home and protecting our own borders would be putting our country in dire straits? Our own active troops and veterans support Ron Paul, he receives the most money from active and retired military than ALL the other candidates combined!! They had over 4000 troops show up at the white house doorsteps marching for Ron Paul a few months back but of course tge media had ZERO coverage of that event! I really hate discussing politics with people whom I have become to know through a respected website but I do feel offended when a person who truly is I beleve a man with great honor, dignity and quite frankly the most trustworthy candidate to ever come along in the past decades be labeled as a nut job! All because of our deceptive media and corrupt government is doing the work of the people in power! The people who run this country, the people with MONEY!! Unless you have truly done your research on this man and I dont mean by listening to the media, read his books, read what he stands for, then NOBODY has the right to label him as a nut job!
