    Fed up! arghhhh!

I was feeling it yesterday and now today even more. Time to put the boats away for a while and come back with a clear head.

Just seems like one thing after another. Buy stuff I need to rectify one thing to find out something doesnt work (tonight's case) or I missed something else for the other boat (even more money spent!).

So I probably wont be around for a few weeks. I feel like I got screwed on one deal and bleeding money on the other- both bad feelings.

How do you guys deal with it when you get upset with your hobby?

Well mate give the dog a kick swear alot throw something at a wall and it usually calms me down after that. A couple of bottles of red wine has the same effect ( now that the dog runs away when I start to swear lol). What are the dramas you are having maybe someone can help out.

    Cheers

I smoke a cigarette (Marlboro Special Blend Gold Pack). It helps me think more clearly and calms my nerves.

I smoke a Marlboro No.27! Then kick the dog, swear, stare at it, swear some more, squirt the cat with water, then come here!

            Do not touch a boat
            Look at a boat
Or go on boat web sites
For about a week ( you will be suprised at how much spare time you now have)
Then get out the tried and true boat (everybody has one that always works) and charge the lipos and go foar a spin
Things that are bugging you with the boats will look better

                Reds are always an option.
When thoughts get rough and outcomes get scrambled.. I put the model aside for a day/week/longer and I rethink why my ex would bicker ... are you finished yet ... are you supposed to enjoy this.... are the rewards worth the effort ... have you fed the dog .. where are the bins .. ... then work beckons... daughter rings ... . wheelchair gets a flat.. cat needs its meds ... neighborhood starts burning ... world stops turning .. ... oh, the chaos.... and I remember why I started rc all those decades ago ... it's MY time.. I do it for me, and the more complex the project becomes, the more I dedicate my focus...
Thank God for the internet.. if the world ends, I'll read about it later.

If you've hit a stumbling block .. back up and take another look .. or ask for directions.. ( no, me neither )

Great advice. Dig out the tried and true. Nothin' like a DF29 with the old SV27 blue can (I love that motor) and a trusty Proboat 45 amp ESC, pack after pack with just a little greasin'. Not the fastest but a whole lotta fun!

Runs rc trucks in home depot parking lot at sundown while drinking beer. Or, while running boats, get pissed off and throw junk nano techs.

I gotta agree with you all on this solution. When it happens to me I dig out the ole SV27 and drive it like its stolen. Funny how after a couple battery packs, some smokes and a cold beer back in the garage the mind seems back at square one and the other boat problems dont feel so large. You just need that tried and true boat that never seems to fail.

Thanks for the words of wisdom.

Must be a passion because I cant put it down.

After I got a clear head I started looking at things, doing some work (tonight) and all of the sudden pieces of the puzzle fell together. Im not done by any means, but things are looking a bit better today.

No dog kicking. My poor pooch has allergies to no end. Nothing they can do for him either, so I keep him on steroids and happy as I can. He is truly my best friend.

Put boats on E-bay and For Sale list. Buy guns, food, water and ammo for the upcoming meltdown that's coming.
