Old skook - Vocals set the rhythm. Listen to old skool songs. You pretty much had instruments that played a steady beat while the vocalist determined the melody.
Now - Instruments set the rhythm. You listen to the instruments and the vocalist has become an accompaniment. Then you have the loudness wars to contend with...

Or I could just be moody today because my car stereo kept playing Britney Spears as if it was doing it's own personal tribute. So much for the shuffle mode.

Have patience Dom. I'm working on a circuit for music players that filters out illiterate bragging.

Jeez Bro, you just brought me back to some FINE moments - closed my eyes and there I was cruising in my V-Dub Bus down Sunset Cliffs in O.B. wearing my bib overalls with the peace sign on the front finding a spot to watch the sunset over the Pacific. Damn..........

Way back then in San Diego, there were many places we could go and just hang out, or maybe engage in a little heavy petting without being harassed by the fuzz. Point Loma, Presidio Park, Mount Helix, Mission Gorge Dam, Mount Solidad, ETC.
There was hardly anyone around, so, no crowds, no locked gates, easy parking, and no curfews. Kinda makes me wonder what the kids are doing now.
Anyway, a little mood music for a sunset off of Torry Pines. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eN-woJ3pzAI

"Tony did you ever stay there???"
Tony's a well traveled man Douggie, so I can only imagine he did at one time. BTW, TONY! the hotel called, they want their towels back.
