I heard Nights in White satin from radio Luxembourg one night when I was 11-12 years old. Bought it the day after. My second LP :O) Still have it.
My first LP was Desolation Boulevard with The Sweet...
Had to put a new stereo together now we moved to the US. The old one didn't like the 60Hz.
Now I only have a record player. The sound is so much more involving, and I started to buy records again :O)Comment

Here is a an album and band that I first heard on a holiday with some Yanks I had hooked up with in Spain in 1967. They played this album on a portable record player they had. The lyrics made perfect sense to me then!!!

I really loved this back in the day. Satanism is/was a gimmick, a sales pitch that was interesting and different from main stream.

Just recently I lost a friend to alcoholism (sclerosis of liver). He was a truly good person that loved his mother, father, family and friends. He was the most cool person I have ever known.
Just recently another buddy of mine shot and killed himself with a shotgun. I had not seen or heard him talk in years before this.
Snap out of it...life goes on.Comment
