    who is good at math

    hi all
can someone pls verify my math on an equation
the scenario is i need to work out the metric tonne pressure from a pounds per square inch reading on a vertical hydraulic test rig here goes
hydraulic ram diameter is 1.5 inches the psi is 4000
first area of cylinder 3.14xdxd divided by 4 =1.767

    multiply psi x area 4000x1.767=7068

to convert to metric tonnes divide by 2.205 7068divided by 2.205=3.205 tonnes

any one see a problem with this thanks in advance for your time

    PSI x .07 = kg/cm
    7068 x .07 = 494.76 kg/cm2
    This what you were after?
