I keep telling you guys, "you" have lost the flag...the democracy is DEAD and has been dead...It's life support is slowly being removed while you are sidetracked with who's democrat and republican...liberal and conservative...dumb a** labels as usual (why people loved being boxed in is beyond me). I'm red, I'm blue...I'm for the Yankees, I'm for the Red Sox... It's all BS and non primary if you as me, but people actually hate people for silly crap like that.

Post 60's, we live in a nation of cowards, bought and sold by trinkets, A nation of the morally vapid, freeloading off of the blood and sacrifices of their parents and fore-parents. Who know nothing about ideals or values. Who lives on credit and entitlement; A nation of narcissist and nihilist who charade as the moral compass of our society, They worship "God" with their platitudes while deceitfully trying to coalesce the uninformed and misinformed, due to their own ineptitude. The USS Titanic(America) has sailed.

Justices are me, Therefore they can be influenced by those who have the most money.

Wow...sounds like you're pretty disappointed with the decision. I guess they figured that everyone (elected officials) should get a piece of the pie. Just a few years ago, wasn't it a felony to bribe a public official? Not anymore, You can just buy one. Who's going to stop one of the "special" interest groups, like the mafia, taliban, skinheads, nazi's, La Familia, crypts, bloods, and any other entity from buying themselves an official? Welcome to the Divided States of America!

Sure its not right but In my eyes it doesn't change much. The whole campaign system needs revamping. I always thought that someone thats interested should be given campaign funds by the Government. All candidates given equal money. No outside funding. I know its rather simplistic, but until the favors and dinners and fundraisers, some campaign donor will always have their hand out or need a favor. For instance, we hear of these $10,000 dinners. Who pays $10,000 for a good steak and doesn't look for a favor down the road?

I guess by protesting, they feel that they will regain their individuality and liberties that we've passively allowed to be taken from us. We grumble, but does anyone really do anything about it? These guys have broken our spirit and the media is the whip they have used to break us.

It's like two guys on a sinking boat arguing about the best way to bail out the water...To me, it would make better sense for one guy to try to repair the leak while the other bails the water. It's called TEAMWORK!
Oh but the bickering boys and girls in Washington forgot that part. Have you guys ever seen a child pout until they got their way? Wanna see adults do the same?

The consequences of todays Supreme Court decision has dire long term implications for politics at many levels. We all know that. It opens the doors for more tailored politicians who will be groomed for much greater things as there careers mature. I have to agree with the reasoning behind the decision but its one of those decisions that has no good benefit for the majority.

For those who seek reform we have a long way to go. Maybe we need to look at a stronger movement towards term limits in both the house and senate. Maybe thats our recourse. Todays decision is only going to make career politician more on the take then they already are. We all know money buys anything dishonest. And thats the root of bad politics. My fear is eventually this will embolden those who like Clinton, Cheney, gawd the list is long, know they can manipulate their office for financial gain at taxpayer expense and suffer no penalities. Basic human greed.

I dislike the ruling, but one good thing that can come from it is that we will now know who really is funding the ads. In the past, corporations hid behind a PAC. Now they will be openly telling you where they stand. No more of the past, where they could support both sides and claim favors from whoever won the race.

So in that way, maybe it's not such a bad thing.

Actually, the decision supported the right to free speech. If you don't like that corporations have the right to free speech, then I would be correct in assuming unions (as big and evil as corporations) should be abridged equally.

For what it's worth, I think we would have a better government if we just threw darts at a phonebook.

It is free speech. Kinda central to our country. Heard that congress is going to make changes in the legal structure of the incorporation process to prevent this. Won't be a law so the SC won't have to rule. Alll those who cheered when the Repubs started filling the court with right wingers...this is your reward. Congrats.

The high court is pretty evenly split. This ruling shows that pretty well. On any particular issue, there is always at least one judge whose opinion isn't known ahead of time.
