    Iranian-Backed Insurgents Hack U.S. Drones

For all of you who think all this technology is the end-all be-all, and we no longer need a human in the cockpit...

And many people need to rethink their idea that we are fighting a bass ackwards bunch of idiots living in caves.

Fortunately all they seem to be able to do is to intercept the video feeds, which is bad enough since it removes the tactical advantage of surprise and stealth and lets them know who and what we are watching.

Not to sound like an horses butt, but Does an engineering degree from the middle east hold the same weight as a engineering degree from the USA? My uncle came from Armenia as a "engineer" many years ago. It was just a title.

Not to change the subject but have you guys seen and read about those first person viewers for rc planes? Quite cool.

Bin Laden's father owns a construction company that built an awful lot of stuff for Americans and our allies. It is a family business and I have no doubt that the man knows his stuff. Supposedly the father and American businesses/govt are still good terms, it's just the black sheep that has given them a bad name.

In general the US is very cozy with the Saudis, too cozy for my comfort. The Bush family especially. Bush Sr. and the Bin Laden family have a long history, and let's not forget that it was the US who groomed and trained Osama when he was fighting the Russians in Afghanistan.

Not to get too far off topic, but it strikes me as odd that so many had no issue with these photos and actions, but if Obama bows while greeting the Japanese, then he is some sort of traitor. Never mind that 19 of the 20 hijackers were freaking Saudis!!

But these photos show why we invaded Iraq instead of Saudi Arabia.

Most foreign degrees hold more weight...I remember in the 70's and 80's while in school alot of students from the Caribbean and Europe that came here were usually place 1 or 2 grades ahead.
