I think the media is in bed with the government. They keep the people divided with trivialities all the while implementing policies that really affect us. For instance, you hear a lot about tax cuts. With all the tax cuts the government has done, why do our taxes keep going up? Both parties keep rehashing the same old issues for years, doing little to nothing about it. But it pops up every election year. The government has a policy of plausible deniability. Put the truth out there, present it in a way that it sounds implausible or far fetched. Then leak it to the media. Ever notice that there always seems to be "leaks" but no one is ever accountable? Magicians keep your eyes focused on one hand while they pull their tricks with the other. Do you think the government is any different? If we truly had a two party system, why are there conservative democrats and liberal republicans?

Want to blame somebody about personal information getting out into the public? It's not new. It happened to Spiro Agnew. As of January 2009 he could hold a Cabinet position, but back then it cost him his office and honor.

Kinda hard to make "racial innuendos" about somebody who's not a minority, but they sure did try to make him look stupid in cartoons by over-emphasizing his ears. IMHO, that's equivalent to the guys who try to make Obama look like a monkey. Hmmm, I kind of remember the blatant monkey attacks against Bush, too. And the continual attempts to make him look like a dunce (I think history will bear out that he was far better than most of you knew).

Personal background stuff goes back 45+ years. It was a big thing for JFK to be elected - the first (and ONLY) Catholic and first Irish President. Spiro Agnew was the first Greek to be VP (also first from Maryland). These were issues back then.

Today, they aren't relevant to us, just like Obama will be irrelevant to our grandkids.

Proof of birth, though, is a CONSTITUTIONAL requirement, not a preference of the right or left. Because he started YEARS ago about trying to find ways to hide his country of birth, it only raises the issue even higher.

Proof of Birth is clearly stated in the Constitution. No disputing that. But record keeping in those days, was far from perfect. There were many undocumented U.S. births. But did Kennedy or any other president have to prove they were born in the U.S.? Also, I would think that many government agencies would have looked into this when Obama was just a candidate. Thus squashing any chance of him even running for the presidency. Maybe the birther movement is just a diversion to take focus off of other issues? Who knows? But what I do know is that there is a uncomfortably high emphasis placed on trivial matters and not on the things that really affect us.

I'll say this as nicely as I can, but I've had some wine with dinner so I may fall short of that goal.

It is simply moronic to think that the US government failed to properly determine Obama's, or any other candidate's, qualifications to be President. This includes his birth place. To think otherwise requires a depth of mistrust of the government that borders on the lunatic.

I can finally rest now that I know that the left media controls Rush, B. O'Really, Faux Noise, G. Beck, et. al. I thought all this time they were right wing media. Glad to be clear on this...finally.

I love, The Left Control Media.

PERINO: "They want to do all of their investigations. I don’t know. All of the thinking that goes into it. But we did not have a terrorist attack on our country during President Bush’s term. I hope they’re not looking at this politically. I do think we ought it to the American people to call it what it is."

These people are out to lunch. I can't believe Obama has plans to hire this nut job.

The control by the left is the illusion perpetrated by those that disagree on the right and vice versa or put it another way, "you're either with us or against us."

Where did I hear the latter from? Hmm...That one escapes me...
