Just asking the question. When I hear the blame placed, I hear it both ways. Same with Obama.

Obviously, it's the administration as a whole that is partially to blame... But just like with the Wallstreet guys, it's the top guy that takes the heat and is ultimately responsible. He/She is the one who picked many of them...

So, in some instances, the blame is misguided or irrational?

That's going to depend on whether or not the evidence shows they ARE to blame or not...

So the rational or logic utilized to arrive at such conclusions can be flawed?

Dang! You caught it...I was going the direction that the media, regardless of who is spewing it, can influence our perceptions. This is why I try to watch different networks with opposing views. I try to get all the information on a subject of interest.

How can anyone not blame the Bush administration for helping to create today's problems? Obama is not a wizard. He's been president for how long now? I'll blame Bush himself before I place any blame on Obama, that's for sure.

Here is a PERFECT example of what I'm talking about...

On CNN.com, there is a story about Sarah Palin's book tour:

Ticker: Palin book tour raises eyebrows

When you read the story, there is NOTHING in there that would "raise" anyone's eyebrows... it just tells how she is bypassing conventional paths for a book tour and hitting more rural areas...

CNN is GENERATING contraversy with this headline, when NONE exists... AND it's slanted to the left here to try to make Mrs. Palin look like she is doing something wrong...

How about just telling me the story, and leave your personal views OUT of the headlines...

This is why one should get their news from various sources. All the big players seem to do this. Some more than others.

Here's a story I don't know to take seriously or not...
A male cat in Iowa is the first cat in the United States documented to have the H1N1 virus. The discovery has sparked concerns that pets may transmit the swine flu virus or that frightened pet owners will needlessly abandon their cats.

Weird, that is not the headline I see on that link

                            This is what it reads:

Palin book tour takes unconventional path
                            It goes on to say:

According to Harper Collins, the publisher of Palin's forthcoming memoir "Going Rogue," Palin will bypass several of the major cities that are often the pillars of any big book tour, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, New York, and Philadelphia.

Palin's schedule instead takes the former Republican vice presidential candidate to smaller - and in many cases more conservative - cities like Fort Wayne, Indiana, Washington, Pennsylvania, Roanoke, Virginia, and Jacksonville, Florida.
                            Don't get me started

Yep, just read it. Not sure what Darin's talking about. That small article was completely un-biased.
