They also failed to mention that the Republican loser was endorsed by Palin, Hannity, etc. And that he had declared that Glenn Beck was his "mentor" just prior to the election. SO in that case no big news for Fox or the right. No mention that their big guns failed to deliver a seat held for over 140 years by Republicans.

Virginia has elected a governor of the opposite party to the President for the past 35 years, so no huge surprise there. In New Jersey, Corzine had very close ties to Goldman Sachs and people hated him for his ties to Wall Street and applied guilt by association in that one.

Of course Fox wouldn't mention that. According to them, people are repudiating Obama.

I wouldn't say that anybody hated him. He's a person, just like you and me, and I don't "hate" anybody. I might disagree with them or hate their stand on issues, but I try real hard not to hate the person for those things. It's the "love the sinner, hate the sin" that we actually teach in church.

Corzine and his financial dealings with his girlfriend, his "above the law" attitude that nearly cost him his life (and DID cost a State Trooper a lot), and his arrogance are things that cost him. His support of issues which a large portion of the state (most of the folks outside The City) didn't help him any.

Now imagine their coverage if the seat had gone to the Republican for the first time in 144 years. Fox acts as if the predictable results in the races in Virginia and New Jersey are virtual impeachments of Obama and then simply report the NY 23rd results without comment.

            Fair and balanced??

I'm afraid you are not accurate here either... the commented on that as well...

Well, let's take a look at their election page today:

The first two items are the gay rights loss and Republican wins. The NY D23 story is 14th on the list.

Then read the actual story, really not much there except of course references to the Republican wins. No mention of the historic loss, no mention of the support of their OWN pundits, no mention of the RNC support for the loser. Nope, just talk about the Republican wins and a discounting of the results of this race.

Bill, even Hannity talked about it at length yesterday, and what it meant, and what lessons the Republicans can learn from it...

Sorry Bill... I guess I should listen to MSNBC or CNN to get "Fair and Balanced"...

Not saying MSNBC or CNN is "Fair and Balanced." But if you watch all of them, you would see that each puts their own "spin" on the news. I watch all three from time to time so that I can make a "Fair and Balanced" assessment on my own.

It seems to me that to form an educated opinion, you need to hear all sides of a story. So to completely blow off fox news because they don't like what they are reporting, or I think, in most cases, have been told that they don't like what fox is reporting can't make for an informed opinion. Seems that bush was questioned over his every move for 8 years, so what changed? If Fox is so full of BS, then what's the big deal. They are only one of many networks. Americans have to be protected from hearing opposing views???.. That's doesn't sound like America to me. I mean, God forbid, Obama isn't the savior that so many think he is. Stranger things have happened.

No, let's just state that as a fact... Obama is NOT the "saviour" that so many think he is... There is NO question about that!

Haven't I been stating that all along? He is just a man in position of authority. He on his own cannot save us. And on the opposite side of that coin, he on his own cannot destroy us. So in my eyes, people give him far too much credit for doing either.

Is it Bush or the Bush Administration that they blame. On another story, I support this...
