    FSC in ciggs?

Anyone else notice this new thing tobacco companies are make ciggs. with? It is supposed to keep them safer as far as smoldering and such. It is terrible. I know it makes me feel sick and they taste even more like crap. I guess in a way its the best thing they have done in a long time as I am setting them down because of it. YUCK! I guess it stands for fire safe cigg.?

That is an interesting bit of info there. I know that smokes cause a few house fires over here. The normal ciggies do smoulder longer. Those of us who smoke or did will remember the time we put a cig in the edge of an ashtray and came back 10 minutes later to a filter only. I believe there is stuff in packet ciggs that keeps them burning evn when we do not suck on them.
I roll my own from loose tobacco and do not get that problem. I put it down and it is out in a minute. IIRC it is salt peter or similar that keep the packet ones going. Why they just do not remove that is a mystery to me.

    Good points.
You are giving it away....that will be good for your health etc.
There may be a few less house fires as a result.

On that note. it is often associated with alcohol and or fatigue and the smoker falls asleep in his nice big chair and drops the smoke on the floor or cushion. The fire process begins and the sleeper is overcome by smoke while asleep and subsequently dies in the room/house fire.

    Preventions for this.
    Dont smoke
    Dont smoke inside
Have smoke alarms fitted in all sleeping and living areas. My house has 5 of them.
If you are unsure as to which ones to get, call your local FD or Fire Service and they will offer the correct advise.

    Sermon over
I'm off outside for a smoke.
    See it....find the photos.....sketch it it....build it........with wood

I think it's some sort of gun powder that is in the "rolling paper" itself that keeps it from turning off(?)...
anyway, like Simon said if you smoke weed there isn't such problem... I mean tobacco. LOL.
Seriously though, if you smoke, have some consideration for life and don't leave your lit smokes unattended.

Not only does the FSC ciggs taste bad, you have to power smoke them to keep them lit.
Made me quit......for about 2 weeks. hah
