I personally using Schulze 40160 escs, but that cap will be comment for all HV escs, and you should get some 37v caps for LV escs as well.

redundancy... if one 1100 cap goes, that's i for your ESC... if you have many smaller ones, a couple can go and may still have an intact ESC

so let say i put many extra more "uf" caps is it even beter or have to be exactly "uf" of the original one?

On my CC Hydra 240s i'm using 4- rubycon 35v 470uf high temp capacitors. I put them on after the stock ones failed and haven't had any problems since.

Putting more caps in parallel will lower the ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) of the cap circuit. The drawback is increased realestate that the multiple caps will occupy.
In addition if you are just adding caps, your not boxed in to just using Radials. You can use axials also.

I just found 1000uf 35v caps at radio sack, 1.59 each. I put 2 on an a.c. Esc and and now it hasnt got hotter than 105 degrees

35v 470uf are good. Yea 105*C temp is good. Also maybe the same ones that come on the castles for straight replacement.

These are the ones that I bought for my ESC's. These are the same series (ZLH) that are on my castle controllers, with a higher Micro Faren (uF) number. Just another note, I don't run anything that is over 4S.

For what ever reason, the higher voltage caps (35V and above) are all shipped out of the UK. The shipping charges are much higher...
