Twisted liquid has a hatch tape called crystal clear , is one of the best tapes i have used or 3M make a very good water proof tape as well

a good electrical tape will be ok , but you wont want leave your boat upside down to long if you flip it , water will get in . yes the black stuff , but not a no name brand !!!! duct tape will work also..
Been using 3M ecectrical tape for years,,,,,,boats have been upside down more times than I care to admit......never any water inside.

Walmart sells clear electrical tape, it is located in the automotive section.

duct tape will work also..
Ouch...I bet that will take the paint up or leave a nice mess of glue....but I'm sure it will stick good. :blink:

I use regular "Magic Tape" or scotch tape. I don't usually flip my boat or apply the tape when it is wet, so it serves the purpose of keeping water out. I picked up a reel for under a dollar at Walmart.
