This was taken Aug. 8, 2009. It's on board footage of a UL-1. The first part of the movie clip was taken looking forward and got a little blurred as the muddy water got on the lens. The 2nd clip is looking aft and much cleaner. Speeds for these 2 runs were 45.1 mph on the GPS.

Awesome! I have the same setup. Did you add any screws to your mount, or did you just use the double sided tape that comes on it?

Cool video. What did you use to record it?

I used the sticky pad and drilled 2 small holes to add a 30lb test safety strap made of fishing line just in case. It didn't need the safety line and I made no adjustments to any setting prior to running with the camera.

The only thing I noticed affected, besides the performance of course, was my turning radius was not as good.

Can't wait to see your videos.

Traxxas actually markets the go pro rc camera and it has a wide angle lense. It is waterproof to 100ft. I don't recommend taking it in the pool drunk however. You might not want to see your videos the next day. LOL
