first! im so sorry for me goofy english!!

so...

Im building some boats and im tired to spend money :doh::doh:

i have a jes030 for plane left,and i dont want to buy a 80 bucks navy esc...

this convertion idea come from Steven from OffShore Electrics..i just did in diferent way..thank you Steven!


so i decide to build one..but i am a horrible welder!! then i did this method..

and you know what? works !!! and very well!!!

and the best part..no soldering!!

for this build i use this parts:

thin aluminum foil..

aluminum tube..

some closed cell rubber..

epoxi resin...

k&s brass half square..


in first place,lets waterproof the eletronics...

remove the heat sink..

brush some layers of epoxi resin..

Yep nice work but are you sure it won't leak? That would be my concern.

yep!!

i did a pressure test with an air compressor and no problem! btw,a lot pressure!

i would say that..almost blows in my face! ...but didnt leak..

I did several tests and the ESC is not warm either. complete cool!!

Yep nice work but are you sure it won't leak? That would be my concern.

I have built one with house door type rubber gasket. simple and easy. I used the esc finned cooling plate I had removed as the outside plate
