That place sounds private must be really nice, just curious how close is it to key west? I was there last year.

Cool place. The water looks like heaven! Not like Boston's black ocean!!

This area has officially become "off topic" also.

I'm really trying my hardest not to make 30 sub forums.

I think the site is perfect the way it is. nice and organized! easy to find all the new posts this way, dont have to spend a whole lot of time searching.

NICE! what kind of fish are those, one looks like a tuna(not sure).

who owns the islands?

the tuna looking fish are called bonita (they are related to tuna...youd be suprised how powerful these things are....i swaer it felt like i was pullin on a huyge barracuda or maybe a kind fish (on the other boat, they cought a 45pound and 65 pount kingfish...another boat we went with caught a bunch of dolphin (the green/yellow fish), the others are called trigger fish...(i think the colorful one is a female trigger)....

a funny thing happened (twice in a row with the same barracuda) i was reeling in a yellow tail and while i was reeling it in the cuda went after it....the first time it ripped up the fish a little bit, but it was still alive and there was not missing fins/part/guts/etc.....the second time, it held on and it was up at the surface and i almost caught it, but it ripped the fish in half instead.....i wish i had gone on the other boat though....that same day they caught the 45 pound kingfinsh and a shark (which tye released of course)....dang though that bonita was good eating....made it taste even better knowing i caught it....but dang i almost threw up when they gutted the kingfish....all the blood and stomach fluid poured out al9ong with some of the guts....eeew

we also did some snorkeling at this HUGE (like 15 feet across) brain coral formation, which was teeming with sharks (i this most of them were nurse sharks, but there were a few caribbean reef sharks and a hammerhead i think...

this trip was awesome, i cant wait till next year....

wow! big fish!

I showed my wife these pics, now she wants to go there!

How cool that must be to swim with sharks:eek: Dang, and I though it was cool snorkeling with stingrays in the Grand Caymans.
