If you decide on the 240, be prepared to have your work cut out for you. There's 10-10awg wires to solder together.....real pain in the butt.

Your right it is kind of a bad design but mine works great as does all my other Castle Creations esc. They should of joined them at the board then ran a single wire out. Its just a little extra soldering. Its not that bad I had mine together and running my boat in an hour and a half.
Join the two wires together leaving about an inch or so on one of them. Then solder you connector on the end of the single one. Instead of trying to solder all three(the 2 wires and the connector) all at once.

Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of the 2 wires? If you do that then you're putting alot more stress under the one wire that's going to the bullet connector.

I would think to be as efficient as possible the parallel wires would need to be the same lengths. Rc1 I'm not saying your setup doesn't work for you, but that just doesn't look like it's the best thing to do. It defeats the purpose of buying that beast of a controller!

Could you show us how you are parrelling the wires?

Personally I am going to run 5.5mm bullets on each wire and then solder the positive bullets together and the negative bullets together. That will leave 4 bullets from which I will heat shrink over the extra bullets and just use the two I need.

I don't own one so if I did.....I would think to have the least amount of resistance you'd have to solder both wires directly to the motor lead.

why not just solder one wire into the bullet connector, and solder the other wire to the outside of the same connector,(like this see pic) then cover with heat shrink, save you from using 2 connectors.

A single 5.5 bullet connector with handle up to 200 amps.

Looks like this is the best way yet.

On the power side. If you were running a 2P setup could you use one set for each batt? It should work but lookig for other opinions....

According to Castle you CANNOT wire them that way.

probably needs the big 6 mm then.

I dont ever plan to build any thing that needs to pull 240 amps.

no it does not, but it does say so in the manual or 5 sheets of paper you get....
