my in head formula say half the kmph and add 20% which puts this boat at around 60 mph

Sorry Brian the Apache stuff has been moved to the Apache thread and yes 60mph is probably pretty close

60MPH= 96km/h so this is well over 60mph.
Just googled its 63.37mph!

Well done Peter.

Ty.

P.S. peter did you ever try do those trim tabs i was talkin to you about?

Hi Peter,

Nice, the ride attitude is perfect! Good prop choice also, that's what I picked for heat racing. If I really wanted to make a statement a 462 with a bit of cup was the way to go.:thumbup1:

My only suggestion would be to take a bit of steering out of it otherwise excellent job.

Paul.

Thanks for the input Paul....yes the steering is a bit to sensitive , actually your red Killawatt Sniper was my inspiration to build this one............ when you originally posted on RRR

Tyler no sorry I have not but I do believe I still have the pictures somewhere on my hard drive , It is near impossible to get any real spare time lately between work , machining requests and just the general model thing . one day I still would like a crack at them

Hello Brod

thanks for the comments , Stringer and tabs are all at neutral or zero and the CG I am not a 100% sure I think at 30%

I will later today throw everything in and measure that for you so check back in a few hours , kind of curious myself now...........:confused2:

Ken, I may have to take a trip to you know where and meet up with your wonderful creators of great boats and a sense of humour.

Thanks very much Peter.
Quite surprised at no offset on the stinger,i have the 47" version,(allbeit a copy) and mine needs at least 6mm offset to stop torque roll.
I also have the 33" and the 29" version which needs none.

My 47 also runs very flighty at less than 34% but the 33 and the 29 runs happy at 30%.
All stingers/struts flat.
My son runs this 45" version and cofg is happy at 29%.with no stinger offset.

I suppose theres no prediction with these hull setups, its a suck it and see thing.
thanks again..
