I maidened my UL-1 this past weekend with stock everything using True RC 4000mAh rated at 15C or 60 amps. What a great ride. :rockon2:This machine is great. The batteries puffed however and temps were 150-160F. Motor and esc at around 100-110F. I did run until stutter bump and True RC said they were run too long. He suggested I get more amp hour (capacity) or parallel a third pack.

I have read where some have paralleled 3ea identical 4s pack to get increased capacity, but can I parallel a third 2S pack and then connect them in series and get 4S1.5P? I still get 4S voltage but also increased capacity. Also, do I need to parallel a third pack with the exact same capacity or can it be different capacity such as paralleling one 2S 4000mAh and one 2sa at 3600mAh and with different C ratings?

Tks in advance,

Ed

Tks Detox. Looks like a great battery, but I already have a bunch of 2S Lipo hanging around.

If you have four 2s packs you can wire two seperat packs in series equalling 4s then parallel the other two packs which were also wired in series.

Will all these batteries fit?

parallel 2 2s packs on each side then hook the two paraleled packs(on each side) in series
