ok, I just need to know the difference between the M, X and Y series of Octura props and what would work best for me........12-14 cells with either my 9XL or 11XL.......I was told a 645....ummm.... X645 or M645? .....and last but not least where can i score a SBP one? (or 4?) :D

the x are low lift the m are detongued version of the x not sure about y i think the are high lift.

The Y series is the same as the X series.

X440, X640 and Y540 are all the same props with Low lift.

The Y540 should have been named X540.

here found this on another forum
12 are low lift ideal for submerged drive
X4 are medium lift general purpose props
M4 are like X4 but with the ears removed to unload the prop
Y are like X series but have 10% more pitch
X5 are general all purpose med lift prop
X6 are higher lift than X4 and suitable for surface/semi surface use
14 are moderatley high lift for hydros and deep V's
16 are high lift props for riggers and hydro's
17 are the highest lift prop for riggers and outboards
P7 are similar to 17 series but more rake and less lifti
19 are high lift for riggers and hydro's
V9 are moderate lift suitable for riggers, mono's and cat
20 are moderatley high lift suitable for riggers
21 are high lift for riggers and hydro's 22 are high lift surface drive only good straight line speed

Y5 has 10% more pitch than a X4 and a X6 has 10 more percent pitch than a Y5 .

ok......more confused.....I just received my stuff from OSE, of which I got some 7 cell IB4200's and a couple 42mm CF props.....so I figure I'll keep the 45mm CF prop on the Cat with an 11XL and 12cells and put the 42mm prop on the Titan with a 9XL and 14 cells.....the only smart thing is I did finally get a temp sensor....so I'll try the combinations and see which runs cooler? ...also the receiver balloons Steven sells are awesome, definitely recommend them.
