I have been having trouble with my UL-1 and currently hobby services has my motor but i do have an ammo 36-56-2600 w/ the cooling jacket ready to go along with an m440 and an x642 prop on hand would this be an alright set up or would i damage something?

IMHO a 2600kv is too much, and you run the risk of smoking your ESC and the motor... at least with the props you listed.

It may work using 3s power.

thanks lucky thats what i thought. and detox when you say 3s do you mean 1 pack (11.1v). Do you guys know what voltage this esc is good for

It would work with 3S if you don't use the stock ESC as the stutter bump that's programmed into it will prevent you from using anything less than a 14.8 volt setup.

My next setup will be a feigao 13L. I wanna see what this motor does with the stock esc, I had nothing but good luck with the 12l on my 45amp in the SV27.

Uhh well I need a GPS. but Im thinking maybe 42-43 at most depending on the water..lol she gets wild in rough water.

I was running it in 10mph wind two days ago and it caught air around 40mph and blew over..

Left a massive crack on both sides of the hull...

I am wondering speeds people are running on the sv27 I have had mine for 2 years and have recently added a gps to my rc toolchest and ran 38.6 on the stock set up besides a 40x52 3 blade grim racer prop which I balanced and sharpened to add about 3.5mph to that run which I am pretty proud of because this is my first balance and sharpen job.I am also running 2 5000 mah 2s lipos which I'm pretty satified with........ for now.Sorry to hear about your SV though that sucks man

would it take 6s in stock form? or would that let the magic smoke out?

I have lots of 3s2200s and 6s 2650s. Are either of these good candidates?

No, Id never run over 4s2p on the 45amp SV27 esc.

I ran 5s on my blackjack motor and esc with an x440.. it held up, but ran very hot.. a few more passes would make that esc toast!

My sv is close to the mid 40's with the feigao 12l

I swapped over to a 13l because i wanted to run a bigger prop on 4s..

now its probably running 45mph at most...

actually you can run 5s no prob on ac 45 amp esc, but you must upgrade to a better water pickup to flow lots more water than the rudder pickup. iv been running my blackjack on 5s with a 42-55 prop for over a year now, just keep runtimes short 5-6 lap heats
