I know all to well about tire kickers! Asking questions does not put you in line even if it is preceded by "I am interested" or "I need to check my funds". The first "I will take it" or "I need your paypal to send the money" is in fact the first in line!

I only talk "in line" when I am waiting on funds and know full well that the next person might just take it, even you bustit.
