How well would this Hydro move with a 8XL on 4s or a 11XL on 6s ?
I'm now thinking of getting one of these boats

I plan to riun this on 8xl for 4s racing and speeds around 90kmh or so have been what the guys running them so far , i ran without a gps the other week (2nd run with my new cells) and it was probably around 57-58mph, still a bit of tuning to go, weather has been crap lately for testing plus i been busy shooting people (paintball)

Wow, almost 60mph with a 8XL!
makes me wana sell my UL-1 and build one of these..
I've not built one from the ground up before..
what prop will you use?

Thanks, can't wait till this bad boy is finished and on the water!

No no, I mean near 60 on 6s with kb45-8xl, havent run it on 4s and 8xl yet. Though I hope to get close to 60mph on 5408xl once I set it up.

First time out i tried some tired old cells and it only went about 45mph Had the strut set flat and it was by no means fast, tried a few props, Got some new cells and first set the boat up of a table - took the turnfin off, and set the strut with about 2 degrees of down angle according to my non lifting prop choice which ended up being m445.It went prettty well, and did everything right, water was a bit rough but it was still quick and stable.

Hopefully I will get a chance to take it for a run this weekend and tweak a few things
