ive been running my ul1 for some time now trying all kinds of props and strut heights, let me first say the boat is great, i have no probloms at all all i did was reinforce the turn fin area with the syringe method and its held up great. i have over a dozen runs it takes full throttle turns like its glued to the water and rides on rails in the straights, the two best props for the stock boat for me are the m440 and the l 40 57 3 blade, both get me about the same speed with the l 40 giving me a little wilder ride. i have the strut set at a little less than 1inch the turnfin and rudder both at nuetral, im using 2 trakpower hardcased 4900's, i see some guys here getting high 40's and even 50 mph my max has been a consistant 43mph, iam assuming its the higher mah they are using. can i acheive this without uping my mah to lets say 5100 or do i need to tweek the set up a bit more. one other question would an 8xl and a hydra120 esc be to much for this boat your thoughts

Currently I am running my strut @ 1 3/16" UL 1 seems to be more stable at this setting. Using brand new Hyperion 5000mah 25c 2s lipos my UL-1 reached 50.2 mph using the Grimracer L40 x 57/3 prop. As far as using the 8xl with the Hydra120 I do not know.
