Safe to update my older version CC ESC's?

Ok so tomorrow I am planning to run my hulls for the first time this season. I am still running the older 1.03 firmware, is it safe to update the the newest firmware?

I think so. I've been running v1.04 for about six months on all my Hydra 240LVs.

I recently switched from 1.03 to 1.04 on 2 Hydra 240 LV's and all is well. Nice to know what the timing actually is !

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but while we're on the subject, I have a question : Since the timing pre-sets are now accurate and " custom" user-selectable timing is available, any timing recommendations for a Neu 1515 1Y ? I have one in my 33" DF, and one in a 31" shovel, both on 4S2P.

I know I am going to start at normal and work up a bit and see what happens. I set all my D winds at LOW but on my Y winds I have run them on Race with good results. With 1.04 you can go 1 degree at a time so it should be nice to find the "sweet spot".
