Do they compare to the neu 1521? By mass they do.

Realibility, #of poles, etc.

Help appreciated.

I am assuming you are talking about the A50 Turbine series... CLICK HERE (http://www.hackerbrushless.com/motorDetails.aspx?series=A50%20Electric%20Turbine)
It's a bit low on Kv, based on the 8 poles it has, probably HUGE amounts of torque... about the same amount of watts on paper.
Maybe one could use the "S" version on 10s, then the RPM would be nice. It has more impedance and more and less mass (depending on the size you look at).
More info on the link.

If you mean the popular B50 series, these Hackers used to be the gold standard for FE prior to the Neu invasion. They are really more equivalent to the 1515 Neu motors, not the 1521s. The right one will work very well, an advantage of the 2-pole motors is that you can choose the Kv better for an application due to the closer range of Kvs offered. With LoPos the 9XL is a great 4S motor for monos and hydros.

Feigao motors are close copies of the B50 Hackers, with inferior materials. The Hackers have better mags and are more efficient, thus more powerful.

The C50 Hackers have better magnets than the B50s and are larger with slightly more torque.
