So I have this 200 amp ESC that I will use with a 3060...
I'll be using the "Triangle connection", the ESC has 2 wires
per phase, on phase "1" two wires, each from a different board... same for phase "2" and phase "3". I was just going to hook up one wire to each connection on the motor and then it occurred to me that this may not be the most suitable way to do this...

Any thoughts?:confused2:

on this picture http://lehner-motoren.com/images/3060_dreieck.jpg I would connect the two top cable together to the two cables from phase 1, same for phase 2 and 3...

Thanks, but
why would you do it? I'd like to know why... my thought is that it would over amp one bank of FETs, but I am not sure it'd be this way...

anyone else care to comment?

you wont over heat anything, each wire of each board of the same phase have to be in parallel, as if these ESC were two 100A ESC in parallel, each board being 100A capable by a bunch of Fet's in parallel too, now for the motor coils, six connections that can be wired star or delta (also called triangle) is nothing but the same as a 400VAC triphase motor principle, each terminal is one end of one coil, in delta, each phase or board powers up one coil while in star, each board or phase powers up two coilc that are physically wired in serie
