The sidewinder comes as a package I'm using the car speed control,
I've used it with and without cooling plate
And didn't notice any difference in temps.
On another note the stock cable drive won't take all the power so I made a.048 wire drive with an Octura collet for motor coupling.
Flex hex I've found to be more reliable than set screw couplers.

Hey Repsol. What kind of prop are you running? Is it the stainless or plastic prop?

Thanks

I would not run that setup on 3s. Way too much rpm, even for 2s... The hull is not fun like that. You want somewhere around 3300kv for 3s. The boat is money with a stock-ish setup.

I run mine 3300kv, seaking 35a, with an x435 prop

Thanks SloHD. I have 2 Micro Hydros, a first generation which is my boat to test different set ups with and a second generation CF which I have ran on 4s and it is wicked fast like that. In my test boat I just installed a TP2930 4100kv motor with a seaking 60A esc. Just trying to decide on what prop to use.
