I received the matrix rigger kit today. The quality of the kit is excellent. I plan on using either a 7XL or 8 XL at this point in a 4s LiPo set up. I am not sure on the hardware yet though.

I want to make a rigger too, also with a 8XL, can you give me the general dimension of the Matrix?

I would like a rigger down the road. I don't have the time to build a kit. Besides I found a glass or carbon fiber depending on your budget @ Team Lindenau. They are reasonable and look awesome. Not to mention are complete less hardaware and electrics.

I run mine with a 7XL, Hydra 120 and a Y536 or X637 prop. Its a fast boat for sure. I forgot to say I run 4s Lipo as well ;)

I am not sure how fast the boat has gone, the only time I put a gps in the hull was when I had a different setup than now and it was around 54. I know for a fact that is was about 5-6mph slower than the setup I have now. I just modded a new Y536 prop and cupped it a bit as well as a little bend in the tips. I will GPS this one as long as it moves the way it should ;)

Here is a photo with the partially assembled hull next to some LiPo packs. It is about 25 inches long and 4 inches wide. In the the back of the photo are the two foam inserts.
