The Turnigy ESCS are very good value but they are large. I do not water cool the ones I have as their size does not warrant it. I am talking about the HV and high amperage units. They may not fit in small boats and get enough air cooling. Also all of mine needed (3) required a Pistix to function, that may have changed today

What I meant was this looks like a new upgrade of the popular Turnigy 100amp hv
that is so used in FE and it will run on 12s
do you a run fan on yours Douggie?...how big a boat do you run them in

Nope, the heat sink is huge. This is for the 100amp HV esc. I can not speak for the new series.

Sorry about that I will re-do this video but need to buy a smaller prop for load , a 10/6 is to much for this motor and I don't want to smoke another high power high end unit

I run an 8x4 on big motors and 7x3 on 4s motors.

This ESC looks good to me for the buck.... How would this compare to Castle ESC?

Nick Can you post what your setup is and settings on the ESC , I find if I have the 3.4 volt cutoff even fully charged batteries hit the limiter very quickly and will not give full power on the test stand , maybe 30 seconds and thats it , 3.2v is what I set the cutoff at under load
I am sure it can easily hold its own against one , at least you don't void your warranty if you run 6S

Peter
Its my mean machine cat
I used the optional programer set at
Forward only
Low start
LVC at 3.2 per cell
Low timing
Flight power 2s 5000mah 25c x2 in series
2200kv castle neu motor
Boat would only go 23mph......soon as I switched out the esc she ran 43mph
Using a m445 prop
