Just exploring all the esc options. Was looking at info on the ettis and run across the mgm brand. What is your experience with them? Noticed they are made int the Chech Republic.

I have personally used one on my car and have seen record holding pro's using them without a hitch in boats...
thumbs up from me.

I love mine. Some say they are better than a Schulze. Jay Turner swears by em as well.

All the best,

Ray

They are much better priced for large motors like the 2215 Neu needs. The chech's make an outstanding nitro motor line. Who sells them here in the US?

I have one. The first time out, in my Q Sport Hydro, it smoked. I sent it back and had it repaired in about a three week turn around period. After that it has worked flawlessly. I have found that it is sensitive to a throttle setting. Keep it at near zero.

Like Tom states, the MGM controllers are sensitive to the throttle trim setting. They usually need 5-10% plus or minus on the throttle trim, but that depends on the radio - you may need up to 40%, whatever works. Once you find the right trim setting, write it down and you'll not have that problem again.
