Battery Vents

I'm wondering where the vents are located on cells. Does this location vary with brand? I use IB cells and am concerned about soldering over the vents.

they are on the top of the positive side around the edge. they should be covered up by the battery washer so u cant see them. even if u mess up and some how cover them the solder should not stick unless u put flux all over the top.

if you cover them you are using waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to much soldier.
