Just wondering if the 1509 series is too small. A nearby hobby shop has them on sale. It is a car place primarily. He is just trying to cut down on his inventory.

What would be a kv that would be of use or is this series too small.

A 1509 packs a good punch, what size boat you looking to use it in?

A 1509/1Y makes a great N2 motor in a light setup.

the 1509/1.5D is not too shabby either... I love my 1509/1D, great little rigger motor...
not sport tough.

Looking for something possibly to put one it. Trying to give the local guy some business. Never run a rigger in my life and just bought my first hydro a 30 inch so what are the hull options for this and please recommend a kv too. I have no knowledge of N2 class is??

Curt , I run a 1509/1.5y in my sv27. I have 3 sv27 , 1 with the ammo 36-50-2300KV , 4 cell lipo , hydra 120 amp esc . The sv with the 1509 out runs the sv with the ammo in it . Same batts, esc. SO yes they are very good motors in the right application. BONEWAR :rockon2:
