            Hi There
Thanks for all the comments this is my second FE build and yeah !! no pressure this setup is going to be 12S2P i was told this motor could handle 12S so let's see what happens
like i said this boat was ready to go with go with petrol power all i had to do was the silencer and a few air vents
Strutt & rudder are speedmaster so i hope i can use the existing harware
Really all i have to do is mount the motor ESC and batt and i should be ready to go
any suggestions on what type of thrust bearing setup i should run on this motor?

            Thanks Adrian

Nice boat. What is your setup? (motor, esc, batteries, propeller) 12s means that the esc must handle 12s.
The thrust bearing will be fitted on the motor shaft therefore it depends on the motor shaft diameter. OSE has them for all diameters.

Are you going to place the motor aft or forward? I prefer aft, shorter shaft.

                    12S2P is excellent !
For direct drive, 12S is fine.
Did you reinforce the back of the boat ?

MHZ are quality hulls and that is a looker. As previously requested by Disar What is your proposed setup? (motor, esc, batteries, propeller and Gerwin Did you reinforce the back of the boat ?

Yes sir ! 9mm ply, and covered with epoxy.
(I'm talking about my MHZ Cayman now, soon to be replaced by a MHZ Xray :-) )

All the holes in the back have ss-tubes in it, to make sure no water will reach the ply.

Gerwin, I was asking E power the question you raised not what you would do. As I know you know what to do to a transom
As an aside note what Gerwin does with the SS tubes.

Hi Guys the motor is a Plettenberg HP 370BM/50 A1"S" the ESC is a Schulze Fut-40.160 WK 02.09V16 It will handle up to 14S
and yes the transom is reinforced with CF
i also brought two Hyperion EOS0610I-Net two 12v 18 amp Ac-Dc power supplies and a Kipor Sinemaster 1000 watts generator Inverter to charge my batt at the pond
This motor is a monster 12 mm output shaft maybe the German guys might know how to setup a thrust bearing on this setup

Gerwin here is a vid of a cayman with the same motor running 32 cells you may have seen it before

                              Cheers Adrian
