motor wires keep de soldering themselves from the esc. sometimes one but usually two. ive got seaking 180 esc with i think a 4074 leapord 2200kv. running on 6s .. any ideas why??

2200kv on 6S. That's 48840 rpm no load. As stated this is probably a function of over proping and the result is heat. Your solder joints are sending a message. If they held longer the motor wires would be the next to fry. Running with rpm's in that range a small prop change can push things over the edge very quickly.

If the OP gave us some additional information we might be able to give him more specific help.

Exactly what boat?
Exactly what prop?
Exactly what battery?
How long does he run before the solder melts?
What is the size of his pond?
How much part throttle running does he do?
