i have lost three 22volt lipos ,they get hot and swell up.running sonicwake. 180amp seaking,54mm prop,stock motor. where did i go wrong?the original esc burned up also. as anyone had this issue?

hi luis your prop is way to big, you can run a 46mm at max (ABC 1716-17 or 1815 as max or prather 225 or 230)

Luis I’m curious, who recommended that 54mm prop to you? Too many newer FE boaters do what you did by installing a very large prop. Thanks.

Perhaps, but that ?shouldn?t? have caused a severe overheating issue. He doesn’t seem to want to answer my question.....

Perhaps. Or there’s a bind in his driveline, or the boat is plowing, or his packs are actually 25C or......who knows. The factory original ESC (which burned up) had an LVC as does the Seaking 180, unless he disabled it. But until he comes back and gives us answers it’s all academic.
