Friends, SpeedWeek 2020 is scheduled for February 1-9.

As always we will be running SAW and 1/3 mile ovals.

The lake is getting a little short for the current speeds some classes of SAW boats are running
( it?s good for about 115mph and below), but it is an amazing oval lake!
Our driver?s stand actually hangs out over the water and makes it super easy to drive a nice course!

We don?t have have a rule that only limited boats get to run during the last hour of the day,
but I do have a smooth water rule that we will use if we need to.
Basically it is just an opportunity for the boats that require smooth water to get running priority
if there is a limited about of smooth water during the day.

Every one is invited...if you?ve never been to Blue Lake it is truly an awesome place!
Come for a day, or all 9 days, you won?t regret it!

Entry fee is $60 and of course IMPBA membership is required.

Donna often makes amazing lunches for just whatever it takes to cover the cost.
This is a special treat that adds to the special time SpeedWeek has to offer!!

If you have any questions please feel free to send me a pm or give me a call.

Hi Tyler,
Actually just got back late last night from a great 2 days of trials.
We will be returning for this coming weekend, possibly even Friday too.
Sunday was almost a wind out, but did get some T-mono passes in.
Monday was unbelievable flat with occasional light ripple. Sunny and
74 degrees most all day was not hard to take. Missed you there.

SOME NEWS.......FEDE broke the Super Stock / Sport Hydro Record !!!!
Only 3 years of effort.....Sorry Wilmer.

Got back last night 1AM and had 2 perfect days of water & wind. Wish we could make it back this weekend as forecast is even better. Bumped our "P" cat record and learned a lot about Q hydros. 90mph is just too fast into a corner as after the apex it don't hold without lifting. Gonna be a great open hydro at Brandon.
Good luck Tyler and have fun

Heading down tomorrow hoping for a little of that good water. I'm going to need it to keep my Q-hydro going around the turns.

Tyler Garrard Set all time low FE 2-Lap Record

I will let Tyler reply with the exact time, but I believe it was a 16.2 sec
2-Lap with his crazy fast Raptor Q-Hydro Rigger. Sadly every time it seemed
that I maned the camera, he had boat issues, and when he busted the record we were
taping up for one of Fede's attempts. Sorry to everyone because you would
have had to see it to really appreciate just how fast it was. Definitely the
fastest in the straightaways of any 2-Lap boat I have ever seen.
Finally an FE boat in the same league as the Martin Truex Nitro Riggers.
:bounce:
Congrats Tyler !!

Thanks Ken,
Lots of fun and always great to see everyone.
I believe the official 2-lap time was 16.238sec.

Federico set the N-Super Stock Sport Hydro SAWS World Record at Blue Lake / Speed Week

Proud of my son who worked hard the last few years to get good enough at straight-line to set the "New" record.
He has overcome his learning disabilities and Autism to figure out these very difficult to race tiny boats..........
so a really big achievement. He actually had the N Stock Hydro record beat too, but sadly the clock missed his
initial pass near the end of the event when he exceeded the record speed on the normally slower back-up pass.
Here is his youtube video of one of his record chasing runs.

Congrats Fede !:bounce:
