Check to see if esc is putting out full voltage.

Radio and ESC are paired and want to check that ESC is putting out full Voltage. What I was thinking was giving the radio Full throttle and using a voltmeter on the 3 wires coming off of the ESC but not sure which wire's to hook it up to. I tried different combinations with the voltmeter but could not get a reading.

If it is a brushless ESC it does not change the voltage to the motor. It is a very fast switching device turning the motor on and off. So the more time on, the higher the motor speed. You would probably need an oscilloscope or similar to measure the ESC output.
