If you using Lipos what did you do for the ballast?

Stick on wheel weights. I've found them to work the best over what others I see use. I bought a box of black ones off ebay.

Thanks man!! I'm waiting on new digital scale to show up so I can do a bollard pull test. I'm curious to see what thing can do...besides rescuing dead boats lol.

Thanks! Yeah, I need to figure out this pic thing. The pics transferred from my phone to the laptop correctly. But every time I post here, they turn sideways.

If there's one thing I can't stand is when you can see where a driver would be on anything rc, and there is none. This tug boat, the two jets, crawler, and soon the giant Cub all have a figure operating them. Unfortunately, I bought a pilot figure for the Cub that a few people recommended, and the scale is way off. My Cub is a 1/5 scale and the pilot is for a 1/4 scale. So, I now find the perfect size pilot. The one I bought already...$15, the correct size one...$90. LOL I can't catch a break. So now I'm like...do I buy the $90 pilot or do I just heavily tint the windows? Hmmm I'll probably just buy the pilot and cry for an hour, then I'll get over it lolol.

Yeah I bought one for the 1/10 shovel hydro, no way!!! Huge in the trail truck too so it wasn’t the hydro’s scale being off. We run into this since we can’t put our hands on it before we buy. Internet pics and words are not always true

Next time, turn your phone 90° in landscape when taking the pictures. The forum is defaulting to a "best fit" when attaching images.
