And me too....

Sad tho, I didn't see the Obama food stamp and his slogan of "Change" in there, translated as lets take from the hard working, successful American and give to the increasing population of bums that sit on their front porch, sipping MD 20/20, and encourage reproduction to help suck the system's tit dry....

Sorry for my conservatism, and love for my country!

If the eligble voters actually turned out I would love to see the results.

You guys need to step up your efforts to get them out of the trees (or at least stop hugging them), sober them up, bring them down off their high, or get them to stop playing their X-Boxes long enough to actually cast a vote... :tt2:

Might not hurt if you got them educated on the issues while you were at it... based on what those who DID vote appeared to actually know about what they were voting on... (were they aware they were actually voting the Clinton administration back in??)

There is a REASON why the MAJORITY of "Dems" are classified as "young, college age", etc... or at least the important portion of the voting block that the politicians seem to seek... Funny how many get more "conservative" as they get older... perhaps because for most, with age comes wisdom...

As for the coins... I really didn't see the humour in this... Didn't seem that funny. And YES, I did laugh at almost all of what Tina Feye did on SNL, so I CAN impartially find humor in things... This just didn't seem to have it...

And partial reason for this is that today's college campus is so far liberal and out of touch with the real principle of America, that they preach it to these "young, college age" people that are so easily swayed as they smoke or drink. These students look to their professors that are "all knowing" knowledgable people as they preach this liberal garbage and feel that that is the way they should feel too. Most of these students are just clay in the professor's hands and have no will to stand up and realize the garbage of what's being preached.

I am a student and realize this. I have been throw out of class for voicing my conservatism and contradicting the professor.

Bill, I hope you don't make too much money... It sure would be a shame to see most of it end up to those that don't deserve it. :tiphat:

I beg to differ. I wish you guy could have seen the Obama shirts and pens that were worn to school, and then the malarky that was preached. I know it's one thing to have an opinion, but it's another to force it upon young adults that are malleable and are looking for answers.

I'm not saying anything about educated people and learning from educated people. I'm stating the fact that the students "in the learning" process are being raped with the liberal content of today, and it shouldn't be that way. I know in my classes, the way the professor's put it, they phrase it to be this way or none. It should not be so bias and influencing.

And you say both sides, well they never hear both sides to learn from and decide for themselves. Believe it, cause it's true. I've lived in it all this semester.

Univ. of New Orleans!

And I challenge them. I challenge them to the best of my ability and they love when I do. However, I get looked down upon for this, for not agreeing with their views and disruptting class. They never like to see the other side and this stubborn vantage point influences those that sit back and take it in. That just because I'm a 21 yr old student, I must be wrong and the professor is right. That my views are nullified by the professor's.

I'm saying that its the innocent minds that go there to learn their profession, come out being influenced by the professor's liberal views. They didn't ask or pay for that.

Sadly the truth is that they come in both flavors, corruption and greed knows no party boundaries. And that is the real heart of the issue. The problem is each side tries to pretend it is just the other side which is corrupted. While they focus our attention on their mock outrage at each other we end up the ones who are truly screwed.

Did they ever find Obama's US Birth Certificate?....

Wait a minute, thats true, he's dual citizenship which makes him not a American born citizen, a requirement for President, but not Senator.

Anyways, Illinois governor isn't the first.
And I quote the Rush "I am stunned that the Democrat Party has the capacity to be this embarrassed, because this is nothing new. Lets go down the list. Half of the Ford family in Tennessee is in jail, right? Carol Mostly Fraud. What did she do? She sold influence to a boyfriend or something, trip in Africa or some such thing. Kwame Kilpatrick in Detroit. Is he still in jail? A Democrat. You've got Jim McGreevey in New Jersey. You got Torricelli. William Jefferson, congressman (Democrat-Louisiana). I mean, why are they so embarrassed over this? Look at Franklin Raines at Fannie Mae, Jim Johnson at Fannie Mae, why are they embarrassed? Dan "Rosty" Rostenkowski. Charles Rangel....
So what's the big deal? It's not change. Don't tell me it's change. This is not change we can believe in. This is the same old same old that we've always known is going on."

Lets see what will happen with the "change." Socialism and corruption are #'s 1 and 2 on the agenda.

Bill-SOCAL

Did they ever find Obama's US Birth Certificate?....

Yes, and it was never lost. His birth certificate was certified as authentic by the Secretary of State of Hawaii. That should have ended it for all but the most deluded of people. You know, people that still think the Earth is flat or that Elvis is alive.

It interests me how Rush left out of his tirade the long list of Republicans who have also been corrupt in office. Folks like Agnew, Nixon, Duke Cunningham, and on and on. The sad thing is it happens in both parties. But the really sad thing is how often it seems it is the Republicans who try desperately to occupy the moral high ground while committing similar, and sometimes more heinous acts.

This is one of my major problems with the Right Wing. The concept they try to sell that they are the One True Protector of the Country and the Uncorrupted ones. They jump on any chance to point out the transgressions of a Democrat and then cry foul when a Republican is caught.

So Clinton was beneath contempt for lying about a BJ while it is just mean to go after Newt for divorcing his terminally ill wife on her death bed while having an affair with a younger woman. Neither is acceptable, but somehow in the Republican mind what Newt did was "unfortunate" while what Clinton did strained the very seams of our Democracy.

Edwards is slime for his affair, but it was just fine for McCain to divorce his wife who stood by him while he was a POW but lost her beauty queen figure due to a horrible accident. Oh, and then lie about the timing of his affair with Cindy prior to his divorce.

Edwards, scum. McCain, POW so its is OK.

To me the first thing I think when I think of Republicans is hypocrisy.

And the hate mongers like Limbaugh are the cheerleaders for this kind if vile crap. Limbaugh spent YEARS railing on about low-life drug users and the ACLU. But when exposed as a drug addict himself and helped by the ACLU to fight his legal battles nobody said a thing. This is the guy you use as a source?? And then try to say that character matters??

OK then.

And I guess you still believe in Santa Claus and "global warming?" Even though southern California is about to be hit with the coldest stream of weather its experienced in decades. And the same goes for Miami, normally still in the 80's right now but are dipping down into the 40-50's. I guess my SUV isn't hurtng the atmosphere after all.

And I admit we have corruption too. Sure, 3 of the last Illinois governor's were Republicans and have been jailed.

But I'll grind Clinton into his grave over his BJ. I'm glad his got his, but no reason to publicly lie to the entine country when you are the #1 superior, commander-in-chief. And same thing with puffing his weed, congrats but fess up.

Jeez, Douggie, you DO know me. In fact, I was usually drunk while lying to my parents about missing school and then preached to my younger siblings the merits of a good education!!

As such I can cut Bill a bit of slack. I mean lying about a BJ is treason, while lying about a war is just an "oopsie". And yes, I am a little bitter since my little brother (who ignored my stern lectures about a good eduction) is driving a freaking truck in Tikrit while I have to listen to college kids, of the perfect age to enlist and defend the country they so strongly defend on the internet, lecture me about political issues of the day.

Just for giggles Andy, Google "hate monger" add "limbaugh" in the advanced field. I get 11,500 hits with the two associated with each other, so I am hardly the only one who thinks this.

And I used to think Limbaugh, Hannity, etc. were entertainers, but both are perceived as journalists more than entertainers. In fact Hannity now often refers to himself as such. That is when it serves his purpose to do so. Other times he claims not to be one.

The perception among a growing number of Americans is that Rush Limbaugh is as much a journalist as Bob Woodward. According to a survey by the Annenberg Public Policy Center released yesterday:

As far as claiming to be perfect, far from it. In fact that is what I am trying to point out as part of the hypocrisy of the Right. Nothing they do even approaches being wrong, at the worst it is perhaps bad judgment. I do have strong opinions, which I try to back up with facts, and an intense dislike of intellectual dishonesty and hypocrisy.

I am in no way saying that Clinton was right to do what he did. The fact that he lied under oath was the thing he did that I have problems with. How many people were watching is irrelevant.

But really, going after him in the first place was OK with you? Why not then go after EVERY public official who had an illicit affair. But that is not been done.

So in your mind if he had just come clean (sorry, couldn't resist that one) before the whole legal BS got started that this would have ended it for you?? You think the GOP would have let it drop??

The real point is how asinine it was to spends millions of dollars going after him in the first about a BJ. I often wonder if he had not been so distracted by the GOP witch hunts over Whitewater, etc., etc., if maybe he could have been more effective at snagging Bin Laden.

But recall, it was the GOP who raised a stink about going after Bin Laden because they saw it as a ruse designed to distract the nation from the important business of seeing if a man lied about a BJ. How ironic that turns out to be.

And as I keep saying his lie clearly outweighs Bush and his administration lying about the WMDs, lying about Valerie Plame, lying about torture, lying about illegal wire tapping, and lying about rendition, just to name a few of the big ones. All well and good. Just THANK GOD he did not lie about getting a BJ. THAT would have been terrible.

The really sad thing is that in the minds of many on the right that is EXACTLY what they think. And anyone who dares to raise the questions will have their patriotism questioned or be written off as left wing nut job.

Again, the hypocrisy. We spent millions trying to nab Clinton in a lie, but we cannot even ask if Bush lied without being labeled or questioned.

Keep in mind too that the day Clinton was impeached and the day he left office his approval rating was much higher than Bush's has been for some time. But still, here we are talking about Clinton.

But.. Most politicians are being busted for their illicit affairs. Democrats and Republicans both. Especially the ones that want to sell there senate seat to the highest bidder or Jesse Jackson Jr....

And as I keep saying his lie clearly outweighs Bush and his administration lying about the WMDs

Prove it. There's no evidence that there was or never was WMD's. But they surely needed an @$$ kicking, don't you think? What if I drive all the way out to your house, steal your car, and drive it through your house. And then steal your other car and drive it into your mom's house? Are you going to sit back and say "o well..." I think not. I mean you could call the cop. I guess we could have called the UN.. but thats another story.

I truly believe that Bush will go down in history as a man of great integrity, and as a man that put the safety of the US citizens first.

Length limits? Hmm I think that would be the best thing for Legislative. Get new and informed views and opinions, true to the people, in office. Instead of, my state, ten term dollar Bill Jefferson.
