You guys need to step up your efforts to get them out of the trees (or at least stop hugging them), sober them up, bring them down off their high, or get them to stop playing their X-Boxes long enough to actually cast a vote...

Might not hurt if you got them educated on the issues while you were at it... based on what those who DID vote appeared to actually know about what they were voting on... (were they aware they were actually voting the Clinton administration back in??)

There is a REASON why the MAJORITY of "Dems" are classified as "young, college age", etc... or at least the important portion of the voting block that the politicians seem to seek... Funny how many get more "conservative" as they get older... perhaps because for most, with age comes wisdom...


As for the coins... I really didn't see the humour in this... Didn't seem that funny. And YES, I did laugh at almost all of what Tina Feye did on SNL, so I CAN impartially find humor in things... This just didn't seem to have it...

Unfortunately, Darin that is the youth of today. But there is a day of reconning comming...no jobs and Mum and Dad are going to turf them out of the house at the tender age of 32 years old.

And partial reason for this is that today's college campus is so far liberal and out of touch with the real principle of America, that they preach it to these "young, college age" people that are so easily swayed as they smoke or drink. These students look to their professors that are "all knowing" knowledgable people as they preach this liberal garbage and feel that that is the way they should feel too. Most of these students are just clay in the professor's hands and have no will to stand up and realize the garbage of what's being preached.

I am a student and realize this. I have been throw out of class for voicing my conservatism and contradicting the professor.

Bill, I hope you don't make too much money... It sure would be a shame to see most of it end up to those that don't deserve it.

An educated person sees both side of the equation and discussion and then agrees or disagrees based on the validity of the proposal put forward with a documented response....and no emotion

I beg to differ. I wish you guy could have seen the Obama shirts and pens that were worn to school, and then the malarky that was preached. I know it's one thing to have an opinion, but it's another to force it upon young adults that are malleable and are looking for answers.

I'm not saying anything about educated people and learning from educated people. I'm stating the fact that the students "in the learning" process are being raped with the liberal content of today, and it shouldn't be that way. I know in my classes, the way the professor's put it, they phrase it to be this way or none. It should not be so bias and influencing.

What university are you attending? All the professors I know, love a lively debate and encourage their students to think outside the box, as they love to see a student question them on how they came to a certain conclussion. AS THAT IS WHAT THEY DID AS A STUDENT
