Anyone want to weigh in here that knows more than I do? I know that with certain ESC's, you have to use the old rubber band trick to get it to arm and not go crazy.

Anyone know anything about this particular ESC to know if this one would be the same case?

For $5 more you can get an ESC that you know works with your setup, and you'll get it in no time.....plus you're supporting one of the best on-line FE vendors around. It's a no brainer.

I have ordered many parts from here and always order if they have what I am looking for. Is the Aqua 7010 better than the stock ProBoat ESC? I was also curios if anyone had any experience with the FMA ESC as I have their LiPo charger and like it very much.

I would stay with the stock bj control as the aquacraft one
has no cut off for Lipos
