Did some testing today made 4 runs with my new Swordfish X 220Amp ESC the numbers were good speed 59mph to 61mph with choppy waters these are reality numbers logged with my on board GPS. The ESC tempature was 80F and the amperage draw stayed consistant between 90amp to 120amp with 1 second spikes reaching 255amp coming out of the corners on the front and rear straightaway

Comparing the new Swordfish X model to the old Swordfish + it runs much cooler in the electric boating world heat means everything

The packaging looks like they did a much better job conducting heat from the mosfets. Man, that’s a high amp spike! I saw that in the beginning on my hydro and figured out the boat was cavitating the prop coming out of the corners. I got that worked out, and it went away. I identified it on the data logger when the rpm shot up, then dropped (spiked) coincident with the amp spike. Sure wish there was a frugal method to measure the actual speed...
