If you're thinking about the UL-1, it fits in the LSH class since we allow spec brushless motors.

I have been trying to figure out a way to make this race. Its the right time to make an excape from IL.

Thanks.. not sure I can make it but......

Keep us posted, Grim. FE racing in '09 is going to be right up your alley.

SV 27 can run in LSO. I didn't clarify above and now I can't edit it, but LSO is a spec brushless class just like LSH.

UL-1 can run in LSH.

I've seen a VS-1 tunnel run on P Spec power just a few weeks ago and let's just say I've got some work to do on my TS-2 to try to keep up with it.

Oh, and have Buass get you a spec rigger...

Splendiferous !! Can't wait !! Glad you got McKellips back; a superb pond. I like the class lineup; well thought out & lotsa' bang for the buck.
If anyone that likes FE is worried about attending an, "Omigosh It's an actual Race", not to worry. Show up ; this is a Fun event where everyone is welcomed, encouraged, and is guaranteed a totally "good vibe" time. Trust me on this one. :thumbup1:
Will be looking forward to a VS-1 showdown, Mr. McD :tiphat:

Dates have been finalized. Mar 13th-15th, 2009. We had a bit of a scheduling conflict so we needed to push out the race 1 more weekend past our target.

If you would like to support our race with either a class sponsorship ($50) or raffle goodies, please let me know! It would be most appreciated.

Thank you!

OP updated. Coffee, morning snacks, lunch and drinks will be provided each day.

The class participation looks terrific. For planning purposes, here is the daily schedule plan:

Friday: Open water from 9:00 to 1:00 minus a little time in the morning to get the course/drivers stand set up. We will probably have 5 heats per round, so we'll shoot for rounds to start at 1:00, 2:30 and 4:00. P O/S should be the only class that may have re-charging issues. If so, we will start with that class first, then move it down the class schedule for rounds 2 and 3.

Sat/Sun: Open water from 9:00 to 10:00. We should have 7 heats per round. Round start times at 10:00, 12:30 and 3:00.

We are under a noise ordinance until 9:00 each morning, so the main generator will not be on until then. There will be a smaller generator running before 9:00 if needed, but plan on bringing your cells pre warmed and charged each morning.

If there are any questions, let me know!
