Traxxas M41...water leaks

Hi Guys,

Did the upgrades on the M41 for cooling, .187 shaft and strut and am getting a lot of water in the boat. Cooling lines are solid no leaks there. Could the water be coming up the shaft or strut area? If so, how do I fix it? Any suggestions?

Put the boat in a bath tub without the hatch and see if you can find the source of the leak that way. I've had water come in through the stuffing tub in some boats when there wasn't sufficient grease on the flex cable. It could also just be a poor seal on the hatch, that is, assuming you're not sealing it with tape on each run.
